This item is a regularly occurring agenda item to discuss Workgroup Reports.
DISCUSSION
Currently, SSHRB has three workgroups:
1. The Domestic Violence Task Force (Buchholz/Wolf/Pile).
• To begin meeting semi-annually
• Create clear focus areas for Work Plan
2. Human Relations/Alamedans Together Against Hate (Yamashiro-Omi/Bryant).
• Plan for Season for Nonviolence Word of the Day
• Plan for Library programming guest speakers
3. Outreach and Community Engagement (Means/Green).
• Recap recent presentations of CNA to various City boards and commissions
• Discuss citywide Service Day
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Board discuss and review SSHRB Workgroup Reports.
