BACKGROUND
This item is a regularly occurring agenda item to discuss Workgroup Reports.
DISCUSSION
Currently, SSHRB has three workgroups:
1. Domestic Violence Task Force (Buchholz/Wolf/Pile)
• Semi-annual Task Force meeting scheduled on April 29th
• Create clear focus areas for Work Plan
2. Human Relations/Alamedans Together Against Hate (Yamashiro-Omi/Bryant)
• Plan for Season for Nonviolence Word of the Day
• Plan for Support & Support presentation at the Alameda Main Library
3. Outreach and Community Engagement (Means/Green)
• Recap recent presentations of CNA to various City boards and commissions
• Continue to analyze “The Road Home” and make improvements
• Dignity Village Advisory Group
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Board discuss and review SSHRB Workgroup Reports.
