This item is a regularly occurring agenda item to discuss Workgroup Reports.
DISCUSSION
Currently, SSHRB has three workgroups:
1. Outreach and Community Engagement (Means/Green)
• Summary of the 2024 Work Plan presentation made to City Council
• Recap of previous month’s CNA presentation with the Transportation Commission
• Updates on the Dignity Village Resident Advisory Board
2. Human Relations/Alamedans Together Against Hate (Yamashiro-Omi/Bryant/Buchholz)
• Season for Nonviolence and support AUSD initiatives
• Recap of Brown vs. Board of Education event held at Rhythmix Cultural Works
• Status on the ATAH draft resolution
3. Domestic Violence Task Force (Wolf/Pile)
• Update on the semi-annual DV Task Force meeting
• Recognize Mental Health Awareness month
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Board discuss and review SSHRB Workgroup Reports.
