Present: Chair Weitze, Vice Chair Suthanthira and Commissioners Dara-Abrams, Johnson, Nachtigall, Gloyne and Kim.
Absent: None
Chair Weitze introduced the new Commissioner, Jamie Gloyne.

4. NON-AGENDA PUBLIC COMMENT - Anyone may speak for 3 minutes regarding

Jim Strehlow (*4:51) discussed the Stargell Ave workshop and his experience driving on this road. He wanted to know how the road would be policed. He then discussed how buses were able to make their turns and wanted to make sure someone was aware of these things.

5A 2024-4416 - Approve Draft Minutes of the June 26, 2024, Transportation
Commission Meeting (Action) [Continued from August 28, 2024]
Vice Chair Suthanthira made a motion to approve the June 26, 2024 minutes and Commissioner Nachtigall seconded the motion. A role call vote was taken, and the motion passed 6-0 with Commissioner Johnson abstaining due to his absence at the meeting.
5B 2024-4417 - Approve Draft Minutes of the August 28, 2024, Transportation Commission Meeting (Action)
Commissioner Nachtigall made a motion to approve the August 28, 2024 minutes and Commissioner Kim seconded the motion. A voice vote was taken and the motion passed 6-0 with Commissioner Nachtigall abstaining due to her absence at the meeting.

Public Comment for Item 6C
Maria Piper, via Zoom, (*2:05:03) gave her support for Aughinbaugh Way being included in the 2025 re-paving plan. She discussed the many concerns people had about biking on Aughinbaugh Way since drivers would park in the bike lane. She discussed the volunteer effort to put cones out letting people know they can’t park there.
