PLN14-0754 2152 Central Avenue (Action Date 1-27-15)
The project consists of the installation of an approximately 384-square-foot (12' x 32') prefabricated metal storage shed at the rear of the property of the California Historical Radio Society Museum. The shed will have a maximum height of 8'6" and will be located three-feet from the side (east) and rear (south) property lines. As proposed, the storage shed complies with all development regulations for accessory structures. The project is located within an R-5 (General Residential) zoning district.
PLN14-0738 3020 Marina Drive (Action Date 1-27-15)
The project proposes an interior kitchen and bathroom remodel that will require the altering of the size and location of windows on the front, left and right side elevations as well as removing two (2) exterior doors and one (1) fixed window on the rear elevation and replacing them with one (1) new window and one (1) new French door. The new windows on the left and right side elevations will be narrower in width.
PLN14-0518 2595 Mecartney Road (Action Date 1-27-15)
The project consists of modification of an existing unmanned monopole telecommunications facility. The proposed modifications will include installation of two new RRUS and chain pipe mount to the existing monopole and new equipment within an existing cabinet. The project is located within an R-1-PD (One-Family Residence Special Planned Development) zoning district.
PLN14-0756 1737 Moreland Drive (Action Date 1-27-15)
The project consists of renovations to an existing single-family home that include exterior modifications and construction of a new terrace on the north (side) elevation. The project also consists of two new windows, and the replacement of four windows and one door on the side elevations. The project is located within an R-1 (One Family Residential) zoning district.
PLN14-0742 1527 Park Street (Action Date 1-27-15)
The project proposes removing an existing three (3) foot tall brick wall around the perimeter of the outdoor seating located on the right side of the building and building a four hundred and fifteen (415) square foot trellis over the outdoor seating area. The trellis will be nine feet and eight inches (9'8") tall and constructed out of wood posts.
PLN14-0739 1336 Pearl Street (Action Date 1-27-15)
The project consists of raising the house 18 inches to convert 871 square feet of basement area into living area, adding new windows, and replacing the front steps. The project is located within an R-1 (One Family Residential) zoning district. Because the proposal includes additions and modifications to the existing single-family dwelling, which is located 2'10" feet from the east (right) property line, where a minimum five-foot setback is required, a finding must be made pursuant to AMC 30-5.7 (k) & (l), that no adverse effects such as shading, or view blockage would occur on an adjoining property.
PLN14-0758 439 Taylor Avenue (Action Date 1-27-15)
The project proposes an interior remodel of the master bedroom and kitchen that will impact the exterior of the building. Associated with these improvements is the demolition of the forty-five (45) square foot foyer located on the right side of the building and replacing it with a fifty-five (55) square foot foyer. The new foyer will require the removal of a 30"x35" window. Additionally, the existing bathroom window on the left side of the building will be enlarged from 18"x36" to 36"x24"; and the existing bedroom window on the left side of the building will be relocated thirty (30) inches towards the rear of the building.
