Staff Member Foster pointed out that Commissioner Nachtigall was present for the meeting.
Commissioner Weitze made a motion (*6:11) to approve the minutes as corrected and Commissioner Suthanthira seconded the motion. A vote was taken, and the motion passed 6-0.

6A. 2024-3832 - Review and Discuss AC Transit’s Development of the Transit
Supportive Design Guidelines (Discussion)
Crytal Wang, AC Transit Transportation Planner, introduced this item and gave a presentation (*6:53).

6B. 2024-3833 - Endorse the 2023 Annual Reports on the General Plan/Housing Element, Active Transportation Plan, Vision Zero Action Plan, Transportation Choices Plan, Climate Action and Resiliency Plan, and Climate Adaptation and Hazard Mitigation Plan. (Action)

Steve Buckley, Planning Services Manager, presented the General Plan/Housing Element Update (*21:34).
Danielle Mieler, Sustainability & Resilience Manager, presented the Climate Action and Resiliency Plan, and Climate Adaptation and Hazard Mitigation Plan (*31:55).
Staff Member Foster presented on the Active Transportation Plan, Vision Zero Action Plan &Transportation Choices Plan (*40:14). Rochelle Wheeler, Senior Transportation Coordinator, also presented on this (*48:01).
Public Comment for 6B
Denyse Trepanier, via Zoom, (*56:56) on behalf of Bike Walk Alameda, discussed a letter the club had sent. She discussed plans for the neighborhood greenways and ways to get back on track for projects. She gave suggestions on how the goals that had been laid out in the strategic plans could be reached and to see how they were falling behind.
Alex Sphere, via Zoom, (*59:38) thanked everyone for their great job and gave her support to what Speaker Trepanier had said on behalf of Bike Walk Alameda.
Action for item 6B
Commissioners commented (*1:00:33) and discussed the General Plan/Housing Element Update.
Commissioners commented (*1:08:00) and discussed the CARP update.
Commissioner commented (*1:19:49) and discussed the Active Transportation Plan, Vision Zero Action Plan &Transportation Choices Plan.
Chair Soules made a motion (*2:12:48) to endorse all the plans in Agenda Item 6B. Vice Chair Yuen seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed 6-0.
7. Commission Communications
Vice Chair Yuen shared (*2:13:30) that she would be stepping down from the Transportation Commission and March would be her last meeting.
Chair Soules discussed (*2:14:20) commission elections and that her term was ending, and she would not be seeking re-appointment. She encouraged anyone who was interested in sitting on the commission to apply.

Chair Soules adjourned the meeting at 8:37 p.m.
