Since the last regularly scheduled Planning Board Meeting, the Zoning Administrator or Planning staff has or will take action on the following applications.

PLN15-0026 2140 Clinton Avenue (Action Date 2-24-15)
The project proposes several improvements on the existing 3-unit building located at the front of the property, which include: demolition of an existing one hundred and forty-one (141) square foot sunroom at the rear of the building and demolition of a one hundred and seventy-one (171) square foot second story deck, the construction of a 13'8" by 16'8" two story addition - totaling four hundred and sixteen (416) square feet and located at the rear of the building, construction of two new second story decks - the deck at the rear of the building will be one hundred and forty-six (146) square feet and the deck on the left side of the building will be seventy-eight (78) square feet, and replacing one (1) of the two (2) existing front entry doors with a wood fixed window. The project is located within an R-4 (Neighborhood Residential) zoning district.
PLN15-0039 3243 Fairview Avenue (Action Date 2-24-15)
The project consists of remodeling the front and rear porches of an existing single family home. The proposal will also 8 windows and add 1 new door. The project also consists of a new deck at the rear of the residence. The project is located within an R-1 (One Family Residential) zoning district. The residence is listed on the Historical Building Study List.
PLN14-0748 1820 San Antonio Avenue (Action Date 2-24-15)
The project consists of a Certificate of Approval for the demolition of an existing detached garage that was built prior to 1942. The detached garage will be relocated towards the rear of the property and rebuilt to a similar design. The project also consists of the conversion of an approximately 2,160 sq. ft. duplex to a single family residence. The proposal consists of a basement conversion and rear addition that will add approximately 1,380 sq. ft. to the existing building. The proposed modifications will also add 21 new windows, 2 new doors, and relocate 4 windows. The project is located within an R-4 (Neighborhood Residential) zoning district. The residence is listed on the Historical Building Study List.
PLN14-0729 1538 Saint Charles Street (Action Date 2-24-15)
The application is for Design Review approval for a new enclosure on the rooftop of an apartment building to house nine new panel antennae and other associated equipment for an AT&T wireless telecommunication facility. The proposed enclosure would be located at the rear of the four story apartment building. The proposed exterior of the enclosure would be painted to match the existing building. The project also includes the addition of a small equipment cabinet to be located inside the garage, at the ground level of the building. The cabinet will not be visible from the street. The project is located within an R-4 (Neighborhood Residential) zoning district.
PLN15-0031 716 Santa Clara Avenue (Action Date 2-24-15)
The project proposes the construction of a 10' x 13' enclosure at the rear of the property to contain an emergency standby generator. The enclosure will be made of a six (6) foot tall wooden fence. The project is located within an R-5 (General Residential) zoning district.
PLN14-0731 1777 Shoreline Drive (Action Date 2-24-15)
The application is for Design Review approval for a new enclosure on the rooftop of an apartment building to house twelve (12) new panel antennae and other associated equipment for an AT&T wireless telecommunication facility. The proposed enclosure would be located around an existing elevator shaft to the rear of the three story apartment building. The proposed exterior would be painted to match the existing building. The project also includes the addition of a small equipment cabinet at the ground level of the building. The project is located within an R-3-PD (Garden Residential Special Planned Development) zoning district.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Planning Board accept this report.
