DISCUSSION
Mike Powers with Peterson Tractor, Inc. (i.e. Caterpillar) inspected and appraised the equipment. The appraisal confirms that the equipment is fully operational and that the City is purchasing the equipment at a discounted price. The discount value is $19,000. With this equipment, Public Works will improve its ability to respond to constituent repair requests, including sidewalk, curb, gutter, potholes, and paths.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The funds for this equipment are budgeted in the Sewer Program (Fund 602, Program 0602) and Storm Drain Program (Fund 351, Program 0351). There is no impact to the General Fund.
