EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this report is to authorize approval of an agreement with Wood Rodgers, Inc., Civil Engineering Services to complete two stormwater-related projects in a not-to-exceed amount of $371,129 for a five-year term. Funds for this work were previously appropriated by City Council in the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget.
BACKGROUND
On July 21, 2020, City Council authorized the City Manager to execute an On-Call Civil Engineering Service Provider Agreement with Wood Rodgers, Inc., along with five other engineering firms. The On-Call agreements, including Wood Rodgers' Service Provider Agreement, expired on June 30, 2025.
Wood Rodgers, Inc., started two projects under the On-Call Service Provider Agreement with the City of Alameda (City) that are ongoing and include:
* Marina Village Parkway Storm Drain Improvements
* Flooding Analysis of Eastshore/Central Pump Station, Golf Course Pump Station, and the Golf Course
Staff recommends a new Service Provider Agreement with Wood Rodgers, Inc., to complete the work on these important projects addressing current day and future flooding.
