EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
At its December 11, 2024 meeting, the Mayor’s Economic Development Advisory Panel (EDAP) decided to meet on a quarterly basis in 2025. Staff are seeking EDAP’s ideas for discussion items at future meetings.
Staff are also interested in knowing if there are particular sector-related or general business-related issues or policies on the horizon that staff should be aware of.
BACKGROUND
EDAP’s Rules and Procedures includes among its stated activities:
• Identify potential business retention, expansion, and attraction leads, and specific initiatives or policies needed to retain, expand and attract important industry sectors.
DISCUSSION
Staff are seeking EDAP’s ideas for discussion items at future meetings. Staff are also interested in knowing if there are particular sector-related or general business-related issues or policies on the horizon that staff should be aware of.
