EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This item is to approve EDAP’s 2026 meeting schedule and to gather suggestions on topics for future meetings based on the anticipated 2026 Economic Development Work Activities Plan.
BACKGROUND
This staff report is to recommend the 2026 EDAP meeting dates and to survey EDAP members to determine possible topics to bring forward at future EDAP meetings.
DISCUSSION
Staff recommend that EDAP continue to meet on the first Wednesday of the month and review the proposed 2026 dates as follows:
• March 4
• June 3
• September 2
• December 2
In addition to the 2026 meeting schedule, staff seek EDAP’s input for future EDAP meeting discussions. As a reference point, an outline of Economic Development’s anticipated activities for 2026 is presented and attached.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommend that EDAP reviews and approves the 2026 meeting schedule with any necessary changes.
