This item is a regularly occurring agenda item to discuss Workgroup Reports.
DISCUSSION
Currently, SSHRB has three workgroups:
1. The Road Home/People Experiencing Homelessness (Means/Green)
• Recap of the Road Home Progress Meeting
• Updates on the Dignity Village Resident Advisory Board
• Discuss opportunities to intersect/collaborate with other boards and commissions
2. Human Relations/Alamedans Together Against Hate (Yamashiro-Omi/Bryant/Buchholz)
• Status on the ATAH draft resolution
• Updates on Alameda Poet Laureate for poetry slam
• Discuss outreach strategies for attendees/possible participants for poetry slam
3. Domestic Violence Task Force (Pile)
• Brainstorm mental health aspects of domestic violence
• Plans for future projects and collaboration
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Board discuss and review SSHRB Workgroup Reports.
