A. TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION UPDATES
2026 City Council actions on items reviewed by the Transportation Commission:
* January 20: City Council took no action on a Council Referral to consider placing the Mecartney Road configuration update on a future agenda.
* March 17: Accepted the Transportation 2025 Annual Report & 2026 Work Plan
* May 5: Approved a bike share pilot concept and funding.
* July 21: Consider amendments to create a citation for parking in any type of bike lane.

Central Avenue Safety Improvements Project Nears Completion
The roundabout at Main St/Pacific Ave/Central Ave is slated to open in the coming weeks, and the entire project remains on schedule to be completed by late summer.
