EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On April 26, 2018, the SSHRB received a presentation from Doug Biggs, Executive Director of the Alameda Point Collaborative (APC), regarding the Alameda Wellness Center proposed to be built on McKay Avenue.
City of Alameda (City) staff have invited Doug Biggs to speak at the August 29, 2024 SSHRB special meeting and to answer any questions.
BACKGROUND
APC and Mercy Housing California has initiated the development of the Alameda Senior Housing and Medical Respite Center: a wellness-oriented campus to provide housing and health care resources for formerly homeless residents in Alameda County.
DISCUSSION
City staff invited Executive Director Doug Biggs to speak at the August 29, 2024 SSHRB special meeting.
