BACKGROUND
Staff proposes an ordinance amending various sections of the Alameda Municipal Code (AMC) relevant to development impact fees, and holding a public hearing to consider updating the City's development impact fees.
In 2001, the City Council of the City of Alameda approved a Citywide Development Fee for financing transportation, park, public safety, and other public improvements. Commonly called development impact fees, these are one-time charges to new development...
