Re: Select Two City Councilmembers to Serve on the Joint Subcommittee with EBRPD
BACKGROUND
On January 21, 2015, the City Council considered a referral submitted by Vice Mayor Matarrese and directed the formation of a subcommittee with EBRPD. On February 17, 2015, the City Council voted to establish a subcommittee and have the selection of members return as an agenda item. On March 17, 2015, EBRPD adopted the attached resolution authorizing the establishment of the liaison subcommittee.
DISCUSSION
Councilmembers need to select two members to serve on the subcommittee.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds have not been allocated for this activity. The City Manager and City Clerk offices will provide support using existing personnel accounted for in the City's General Fund budget (Fund 001).
MUNICIPAL CODE/POLICY DOCUMENT CROSS REFERENCE
There are no Municipal Code or Policy documents related to the subcommittee.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
Environmental review is not required to select two representatives.
RECOMMENDATION
