BACKGROUND
Avery & Associates has developed a draft recruitment brochure to begin the recruitment and selection process for the City Manager recruitment. In developing the brochure, Paul Kimura held a town hall meeting, collected responses from an on-line survey, met individually with the City Council members and discussed benefits and background information with Human Resources staff.
DISCUSSION
The draft recruitment brochure is attached.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The purpose of this report is advisory only and has no fiscal impact.
MUNICIPAL CODE/POLICY DOCUMENT CROSS REFERENCE
This action does not affect the Alameda Municipal Code.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15061(b)(3).
RECOMMENDATION
Provide input to Avery & Associates regarding the recruitment brochure for the City Manager recruitment.
