Since the last regularly scheduled Planning Board Meeting, the Zoning Administrator and/or Planning staff has or will take action on the following applications.

PLN16-0022 1025 Broadway (Action Date 2-8-16)

 

The project consists of a modification to previously approved Design Review Application No. PLN14-0593 to add two new windows towards the rear of the west elevation. The proposed windows and materials will match the existing building. The project is located within an R-1 (One Family Residential) zoning district. The building is listed on the Historic Building Study List with an (E) designation.

 

PLN15-0554 1208 Buena Vista Avenue (Action Date 2-8-16)

 

The project consists of an approximately 534 sq. ft. two-story rear addition and an approximately 792 sq. ft. conversion of existing basement storage to living space within an existing single family home. The proposal also consists of exterior renovations to the home that restore the front and rear stairs, the front porch, siding and windows, and decorative trim around the building. All new materials will match the existing building. The project is located within an R-2 (Two Family Residential) zoning district.

 

 

 

 

PLN15-0612 1541 Fountain Street (Action Date 2-8-16)  

 

The project consists of the partial demolition of the rear portion of a single family residence, the construction of a two story addition at the rear, the creation of a new curb cut and driveway, and the removal of the existing curb cut and driveway - which will include the repair of the street curb, landscaping and sidewalk within the public right of way.  The addition will match the style and materials of the existing structure, including the size and type of windows, siding materials and pitch of roof.  Two (2) new off-street parking spaces will be created at the rear of the property to replace the parking spaces lost by the proposed addition.  The project is located within an R-1 (One Family Residential) zoning district.

 

PLN16-0028 100 Ratto Road (Action Date 2-8-16)  

 

The project consists of the reduction in size of two windows on the east elevation. All new materials will match the existing building. The project is located within an R-1-PD (One Family Residential - Planned Development) zoning district.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

Staff recommends that the Planning Board accept this report.
