JOINT DISCUSSION AND WORK SESSION OFTHE BOARD AND ITS WORKGROUPS Discussion and Action item

On June 30, 2016, President Biggs and Member Radding will be leaving the Board. President Biggs has played a leadership role on the Board for the past eight years, and Member Radding has helped coordinate a number of projects during his four years on the Board, including those of the Assessment and Awareness Workgroup (A&AW).
Staff has requested that the Board meet as a committee of the whole to identify new leadership for the A&AW, discuss the status of current Board projects and activities, and hear from members as to other projects and activities they would like the Board to consider taking on in the future.
Recommendation:
Discuss, calendar, and identify Board leadership for current and future projects and activities through FY 16/17. Take actions as needed to facilitate upcoming projects and activities.
