The project included an overlay of nine streets and slurry sealing of two streets. On June 7, 2014, the City Council awarded a contract in the amount of $2,356,430.63 including contingencies, to MCK Services, Inc. for the project with an option to renew the agreement on a year-by-year basis for up to four additional years. Approximately $50,000 of this budget has been used so far in FY15-16 for pothole patching and design work, leaving a balance of over $9.95 million for Phase 35 (to be constructed in 2016) and Phase 36 (to be constructed in 2017). A copy of the amended contract is attached as Exhibit 2.
