Re: Accept Report on the Appointment of One Member to the Open Government Commission
BACKGROUND
Pursuant to Alameda Municipal Code Section 2-22.2(b), each Councilmember is to appoint one member to the Open Government Commission (OGC) for a term that runs concurrent with the Councilmember’s term. Councilmember Oddie’s appointee can no longer serve on the Commission.
DISCUSSION
Councilmember Oddie has appointed Mike Henneberry to the Open Government Commission.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds have not been allocated for this activity. The City Attorney and City Clerk offices provide OGC support using existing personnel accounted for in the City’s General Fund budget (Fund 001).

Municipal Code Section 2-22.2(b).
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
Environmental review is not required to appointment OGC Members as appointments are not projects under CEQA.
RECOMMENDATION
Accept a report on the appointment of one OGC member.
