Re: Adoption of Resolution Reappointing Wendi Poulson as Trustee to the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District Board
BACKGROUND
The Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District Board (Board) is composed of 14 members, one member from each City and one member from the County-at-large. Wendi Poulson was interviewed and appointed by Mayor Spencer to serve on the Board representing the City of Alameda. Her first term began on November 1, 2015 and will expire on January 2, 2018.
DISCUSSION
Wendi Poulson will begin serving her second two-year term on the Board beginning on January 3, 2018. The two-year term will expire January 4, 2020.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This action does not affect the General Fund.
MUNICIPAL CODE/POLICY DOCUMENT CROSS REFERENCE
This action does not affect the Alameda Municipal Code.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a resolution reappointing Wendi Poulson as Trustee to the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District Board.
