Re: Discussion on Recreation and Parks Commission By-Laws (40 minutes).
BACKGROUND
At the November 9, 2017 and the February 8, 2017 Recreation and Parks Commission meetings, the Commission reviewed and discussed its By-Laws. The Commission has established a subcommittee to review the by-laws and bring recommendations to the Commission for further review. This subcommittee includes Commissioner Marianne Carter and Chair Ron Limoges.
DISCUSSION
Chair Limoges and Commissioner Carter will present comments on the By-Laws. Exhibit 1 is the City of Alameda Attorney’s Office recommended edits.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact from this discussion.
