EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Vice Mayor Knox White has appointed Rasheed Shabazz to the Open Government Commission (OGC) and Councilmember Daysog has appointed Ruben Tilos.
BACKGROUND
Pursuant to Alameda Municipal Code Section 2-22.2(b), each Councilmember is to appoint one member to the Open Government Commission (OGC) for a term that runs concurrent with the Councilmember’s term.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds have not been allocated for this activity. The City Attorney and City Clerk offices provide OGC support using existing personnel accounted for in the City’s General Fund Budget (Fund 001).

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
Environmental review is not required to appoint OGC Members as appointments are not projects under CEQA.
