Re: Review and Comment on Event Center Landscape Plan and Furnishings/Fixtures
BACKGROUND
On April 16, 2019, City Council approved the Second Amendment to the Concession Agreement with Jim’s on the Course. This provided an extension for the completion of the Event Center and also required that Jim’s on the Course submit specifications for furnishings, fixtures and equipment as listed plus a landscape plan.
DISCUSSION
Jim’s on the Course submitted all required documentation on schedule and it was approved by City staff. Greenway Golf also reviewed the furnishings, fixtures and equipment and accepted it as shown. The landscape plan was discussed at length by representatives from Greenway Golf, the City and Jim’s on the Course with the final plan being agreed upon by all.
The Commission may provide comments on all furnishings, fixtures, equipment and the landscape plan and these plans be modified pending further discussion from City staff and Jim’s on the Course.
RECOMMENDATION
Review and provide comments on the Event Center Landscape Plan and Furnishings/Fixtures.
