BACKGROUND
On July 10, 2018, the City Council unanimously approved the Alameda Marina Master Plan for the redevelopment of the 44-acre Alameda Marina site located on Clement Avenue between Alameda Marina Drive and Willow Street. The Master Plan requires a variety of subsequent approvals and/or permits that will require review and approval by the City Council, Planning Board, Historical Advisory Board, and regional agencies. The applicant has applied for approval for construction of the first phase of the Master Plan. The first phase involves a residential building located on Clement Avenue in between Schiller and Alameda Marina Drive, called "Wrap A" or "The Launch." Because the Historical Advisory Board has expressed interest in being informed on the progress of the Master Plan, the applicant and staff has prepared an informational presentation about Phase I. The first phase is subject to separate Planning Board review and approval, and there are no approvals required by this Board.
DISCUSSION
