EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

At its October 6, 2020 meeting, the City Council approved a new rent relief program for non-profits and Spirits Alley tenants at Alameda Point and allocated $400,000 for the program. The program allows for tenants to defer up to nine (9) months of rent and begin repaying the deferred rent over a three year repayment period beginning fiscal year 2020-21. City Council approved eight tenants to participate in the Non-profit Spirits Alley Program on December 1, 2020. Staff now recommends that City Council approve two (2) additional tenants for inclusion in the program.
