Title

Adoption of Resolution Amending Resolution No. 15851 Amending the 2022 Regular City Council Meeting Dates.  (City Clerk 10022020)

Body

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Consider moving the July 19, 2022 City Council meeting to July 12, 2022.

BACKGROUND

Section 3-7 (B) of the City Charter requires that the City Council adopt a resolution setting the dates of its regular meetings in December for the following year.  On December 21, 2021, the City Council adopted the 2022 regular meeting dates.

DISCUSSION

Since Councilmembers have conflicts and cannot attend the July 19, 2022 meeting, Council could consider holding the meeting on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.  A resolution is being presented to allow Council to consider changing the date.

ALTERNATIVES

Amend the regular City Council meeting date as described.

City Council could elect to change the meeting to another date.

Do not amend the meeting date.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Setting regular City Council meeting dates does not have any financial impacts.

MUNICIPAL CODE/POLICY DOCUMENT CROSS REFERENCE
