City of Alameda construction: Construction is in progress on the City's pavement resurfacing and safety enhancements. Find locations at alamedaca.gov/SaferStreets#Section-5
Caltrans construction: To enhance pedestrian safety, Caltrans is adding flashing beacons and crosswalk improvements at six intersections along CA Hwy 61 with completion expected soon. Caltrans has also begun early construction work on pavement resurfacing and street safety improvements on Encinal Avenue between Broadway and Sherman Street, to be completed in 2023.
EMBUD construction: EBMUD is making emergency repairs to the Alameda sewer interceptor in Buena Vista Avenue, with various locations from 8th Street to Paru Street.
