City of Alameda construction: Construction is in progress on the City's pavement resurfacing and safety enhancements. Find locations at alamedaca.gov/SaferStreets#Section-5
Caltrans construction: To enhance pedestrian safety, Caltrans is adding flashing beacons and crosswalk improvements at six intersections along CA Hwy 61 with completion expected soon. Caltrans has begun construction its Encinal Avenue project: first work is upgrades to the traffic signals and electrical systems; then pavement resurfacing and curb ramp upgrades are tentatively planned to start in spring/summer 2023, with a target completion date of fall 2023.
EMBUD construction: EBMUD is making emergency repairs to the Alameda sewer interceptor in Buena Vista Avenue, with various locations from 8th Street to Paru Street.
