• 2022: electrical work began
• Late 2023: pavement resurfacing/restriping begins (delayed due to rain)
EMBUD construction
EBMUD completed emergency repairs to the Alameda sewer interceptor in Buena Vista Avenue between 8th Street and Paru Street, and the street is open to traffic in both directions.
EBMUD has started construction for open-trench water pipeline replacement, starting at the intersection of Sherman and Lincoln and continuing along portions of Sherman Street, Atlantic Avenue, Challenger Drive, and Marina Village Parkway. Sections of the road will be closed intermittently and construction should be complete in late 2023/early 2024. Details and contact information:

Parking meters
In the end of 2022, the City updated all single-space parking meters to 4G connection in order to continue the wireless connection needed to enable credit card payments. While that work is complete, about 13% of meter mechanisms are still out for screen repairs. Posted time limits still apply when meters are inoperable.
