BACKGROUND
This item is a regularly occurring agenda item to discuss Workgroup Reports.
DISCUSSION
Currently, SSHRB has three workgroups:
1. Outreach and Community Engagement (Means/Green)
• Prepare for presentation with the Transportation Commission on April 29.
• Continue to analyze The Road Home. Strategize ways to make improvements, and enhance reporting.
• Dignity Village Resident Advisory Board update.
2. Human Relations/Alamedans Together Against Hate (Yamashiro-Omi/Bryant/Buchholz)
• Season for Nonviolence and support AUSD initiatives.
• Updates on April’s Support & Support event at the Alameda Main Library (presentation from Dr. Cindy Acker).
• News on Hate Free Together and meeting with the City of Davis.
3. Domestic Violence Task Force (Wolf/Pile)
• Semi-annual Task Force meeting scheduled April 29.
• Prepare for mental health awareness month.
• Alameda Therapists survey summary.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Board discuss and review SSHRB Workgroup Reports.
