BACKGROUND

The Alameda Municipal Power Unrepresented Management Employees (AMPU) Compensation Plan covers the period from February 23, 2014 through December 26, 2015. Staff is recommending the proposed resolution in order to address the highly competitive nature of recruitment and retention in today's labor market. Adoption of this Resolution will support an increase to the salary rates, salary ranges and salary steps for the classifications of Assistant General Manager - Administration, Assistant General Manager - Energy Resources Planning, Assistant General Manager - Customer Resources, and Assistant General Manager -Engineering & Operations.

DISCUSSION
The Assistant General Manager classifications provide leadership and management to strategically plan, coordinate and direct all operations and administrative activities of Alameda Municipal Power.
