BACKGROUND
In order to streamline the Federally required environmental review process, local jurisdictions are encouraged to enter in to a Programmatic Agreement (PA) with California's State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO). Alameda's Programmatic Agreement (PA) was brought to you on January 3, 2013 for your review and to receive any public comments. All comments were then forwarded to the SHPO and the agreement was approved and signed by both the SHPO and the City and was effective on April 30, 2013 after submission to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP).
The PA requires the City to document in writing all actions taken pursuant to the PA and report the activities to the SHPO the ACHP and the Historical Advisory Board (HAB) in a Programmatic Agreement Compliance Report (PACR) each year. The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda has prepared the attached PACR (Attachment 1) on behalf of the City as required by the PA. This report covers the period from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. This is the second compliance report to be submitted by the City under the terms of this agreement.
