ALAMEDA HEALTH CARE DISTRICT BOARD MEETING
MONDAY - April 24, 2018- 4:00 P.M.

Chief Zombeck convened the meeting at 4:10 p.m.

Attendees: Mayor Trish Herrera Spencer, Councilmember Jim Oddie, Assistant City Manager Liz Warmerdam, Chief Ed Rodriguez, CAO James E.T. Jackson, Board President Michael Williams, Board Member Robert Deutsch, MD, Kristen Thorson, District Clerk

A motion was made by Director Williams to approve the minutes of February 5, 2018 with change to the minutes removing Chief Zombeck from the attendee list. Councilmember Oddie seconded the motion. The motion carried (3A).

Director Deutsch joined the meeting at 4:12 pm.

Mr. Jackson reviewed item 3-B and the PowerPoint presentation noting that Alameda Health System it has reached an agreement with Anthem, effective May 1, 2018. The presentation also included an overview update on community engagement activities, support for community organizations and event and partnerships with the Hospital/System.
